POST-SECTION PLAY
Brighting (Kelburn) beat .Hastings (Newtown), 25-18, in the first round of post-section play in the Wellington Bowling Club's Christmas fours tourney at the Wellington green this morning. At the morning tea adjournment Hastings was leading 12-8. He scored again on the thirteenth end, but did not score for four ends, Brighting coming up from 9 to 21, which included |a son the sixteenth end. One end was not played. At the tenth end, Hazelwood (Lyall Bay) led Stirling (Wellington) 14-3, Cometti (Hataitai) and Bryce (Island Bay) were 9-all, Reid (Lyall. Bay) led Wellings (Hataitai) 13-7, and Brighting (Hataitai) led Hale (Island Bay) 12-10.
