FLIGHT OVER NAPLES
R.A.F. ON CHRISTMAS

ENEMY PLANE SHOT DOWN
LONDON, December 27,
The Middle East Command of the R.A.F. revealed today that on Christmas Day British machines made a flight over Naples. They encountered an Italian bomber and shot it down in flames into the sea.
No bombing raids were made during Christmas, but there were many reconnaissance flights and fighter patrols were active.
