FOSTER—NICHOLSON.

The marriage took place at St. Barnabas' Church, Roseneath, recently of Lorna Ethelwyn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Nicholson, Roseneath, and Raymond Vincent, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry V. Foster, Roseneath, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. E. M. McLevie. Schubert's Serenade was sung during the signing of the register by Mr. Austin Blackie.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a trained magnolia satin gown with bustle and a draped bodice. Her veil, hand embroidered in a French convent over a century ago, was worn with a coronet and orange blossom. She

also wore pearls and carried a sheaf of cream roses,.water lilies, and magnolias.

Apricot georgette frocks, with picture hats to match, were worn by the bridesmaids, Misses Joy Page and Joy Harton. Gladioli and roses to tone formed their sheaves. The trainbearer, Master lan Ruffell, wore a magnolia satin suit, Mr. P. de la Mare Barcham was the best man, and Mr. R. H. Foster the groomsman.

A guard of honour was formed by the Roseneath Wolf Cub Pack, the bride having been their cub'mistress for over five years. The bridegroom also had been connected with the Scout Movement since early childhood.

The reception was held at St. Barnabas' Hall, where 120 guests were received by Mrs. Nicholson, assisted by Mrs. Foster. Toasts were honoured and musical and elocutionary items enjoyed. The bride travelled in a new moon blue ensemble with wine accessories.
