CAMP ENTERTAINERS

REPERTORY CONCERT PARTY ATTRENTHAM The executive committee of the Official Camp Entertainers arranged a delightful entertainment for the men in camp at Trentham on Wednesday night, when Mr. Eric Harrison presented the attractive and talented com pany of the Repertory Concert Party The V.M.C.A. hall was packed, to the doors, and the enthusiasm shown by officers, nurses, and men was a very good indication of the popularity of a show of the variety type. Mr. Eric Harrison is an indefatigable worker, and only those behind the scenes know the energy and time he gives to the success of his productions. Excellent lighting effects showed to advantage the scenery and attractive costumes worn by the performers. Among the soloists were Misses Jean Croudace, Marjorie Vause, Jan Kelly, Val Hickie, Ngaire Horton, Irene; Spidy, Pat Greenfield-Brown, Celia Dwyer, Norma Martelli, Margaret Ar-j low, Ida Lockwood, D. Tyack, Valj Pope, Pat Gledhill, J. Stroude, Pat Smith, Pat Maddock, M. and J. Armour, Val Beere, R. Skerman, Kath Connell G. Vickers, Mrs. Wright, and Messrs. A. Ashley-Jones, H. Painter, R. Deidrick, and M. Wright. Captain Hollis, on behalf of the; Camp Commandant, thanked Mr. Harrison for the bright entertainment. The members of the party were the guests of Major Mitchell and officers of No. 1 Training Unit. The executive committee wish -to thank the Automobile Association and members of the party for using their own cars for transport. '
