BOMBS PREFERRED
NO BANANAS FOR BRITAIN
LONDON, November 26,
"Bombs before bananas." This, it might be said, is th motto of Britain today.
To make more shipping space for the guns, tanks, and planes being brought to Britain from the New World the Government has decided to increase home production of food, and another step taken to provide more shipping space for the import of war materials is the decision that no more licences will be granted for the import of bananas.
