BRITAIN AND SPAIN
FINANCIAL ACCORD

RUGBY, November 26.
An early announcement of the formal signature of the Anglo-Spanish financial agreement is expected. It was initialled in Madrid, at the Bank of Spain, by the Director-General of the Institute de Moneda and a representative of the British Treasury. It is anticipated that Sir Samuel Hoare, the British Ambassador, and Senor Suner, Spanish Foreign Minister, will sign the agreement, which regulates payments between the sterling area arid Spain, and also settles certain matters of detail which have caused friction.
