BRITISH AIR WORK
ITALIAN TRANSPORT SMASHED
(British Official Wireless.)
(Received November 27, 9 a.m.)
LONDON, November 26.
British airmen have continued to support the Greek, offensive and carried out successful attacks against the Italian forces in Albania without loss.
The headquarters of the British Air Force in Greece announced that important military stores and large motor transport columns were successfully attacked in the Tepelen area. Three separate motor and mule columns which were being rushed to the relief of the hard-pressed enemy troops north of Koritza were thrown into complete confusion by low-level attacks. Many vehicles were set on fire, lorries overturned, and mules stampeded. All these operations were carried out in unfavourable weather, with low cloud and rain over the mountains, arid ice-forming conditions. AH our aircraft returned safely.
