RECTOR TO RETIRE
CANTERBURY COLLEGE

CHRISTCHURCH. November 26.
Dr. James Hight has decided to relinquish the position of rector of Canterbury University College from Janu. ary 31 next, it was announced at a meeting of the Canterbury College Council. Dr. Hight . will retain the Chair of History at the college.
Dr. H. G. Denham was elected his successor as.rector.
