ADMIRAL FORBES
A POST AT PLYMOUTH
(Received November 26, 9 a.m.) LONDON, November 25. , Admiral of the Fleet Sir Charles Forbes, formerly Commander-in-Chief of the Home Fleet, has been appointed
to be Commander-in-Chief at Plymouth as from May, 1, 1941.
It was announced on October 18 that Admiral John C. Tovey had suceeded Sir Charles Forbes as Commander of the Home Fleet.
