THREAT OF A SHOWDOWN

ORANGE (Texas), November 22,

In connection with his investigation of un-American activities, Mr. Dies, announces that he proposes to publish the names of employees with Communist, Nazi, and Fascist affiliation throughout industry. "I hope to force the Government and the industrial management to throw out these workers," he said. "It will be a showdown on whether subversive suspects are to be permitted to work in vital industries."
