WAIKATO RACING CLUB
The Waikato Racing Club's Spring Meeting was continued at Te Rapa today before a large attendance. Results:—
Frankton Handicap, £200; 7 furlongs. Foxwood, 7.11, 1; Miss Ridicule, 7.11, 2; Town Survey, 7.11, 3.' All started.
Matangi Hurdles, £300; about 1| miles. —Black Musk, 11.4, 1; Loombination, .9.12, 2-.Jnness Lad, 9.10, 3. All started. - • ■ -
Appearing for sentence before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today on a charge of being an idle and disorderly person with no visible lawful means of support,"Robert Styles, aged 24, a labourer, was convicted and ordered to come lip for sentence if called upon within six months, and is to place himself in the care of the Salvation Army.
