CHANGE OF QUARTERS
MELBOURNE, November 7. After today's LinlithgowStakes at the V.R.C. Meeting, Gold Salutes owner, Mr. Alan Cooper,, announced his decision to change trainers. Gold Salute was formerly prepared by J. T. Jamieson and is now under the care Mr. Cooper said they had merely carried out his, instructions formed before the Linlithgow Stakes in changing the horse's trainer. Beaulivre came to no harm in the Melbourne Cup race and is a likely runner in the C. B. Fisher Plate on Saturday. , ~ . , , Mac Rob will probably be. sent to Perth to run in the Cup at Christmas. Maikai, who was nominated for the race, will not make the trip.
