OBITUARY
DR. G. I. MILLER
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, This Day Dr. George Inglis Miller, Mayor of Ashburton, died at Christchurch last night after a long illness. He was a son of the Rev. George Miller, past Moderator of the Presbyterian Church. Dr. Miller was born at Gore 42 years ago and practised at Kaikoura and Waikari before finally settling in Ashburton in 1929. He was elected Mayor three years ago and was chairman of the High School Board. He leaves a wife, two sons, and a daughter.
