FIVE INJURED
CAPSIZE OF ARMY TRUCK
(By Telcgrapn—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. October 29. Four Territorials and one officer of the Is. Field Regiment. New Zealand Artillery, training at Arawa Park, liotorua were admitted to the Kotorua HospitaJ today after an accident to an Army truck during manoeuvres south of Rotorua All are suffering from shock but none is in a serious
condition. Their injuries are chiefly abrasions. All are reported to be making satisfactory progress.
Lieutenant J. E. G Maxwell is suffering from abrasions and contusions to the back muscles, Gunner L. Waters severe lacerations to a hand and abrasions to a shoulder. Gunner J A. Bland abrasions to a hand and thigh. Gunner G Guillim, lacex-ations of a hand, knee, and hip. Gunner F. Biddik abrasions to a hand and arm.
The accident is believed to have been due to a mishap to the steering gear The truck ran into a bank and capsized, and only the tact that it was fitted with a steel roof prevented more serious injuries to its occupants.
