Mrs. Noel Adams, Clevedon, arrived at Wellington yesterday by the Limited express.
Miss Doris Bray, secretary of the Wellington Racing Club, will visit Christchurch next month for Cup Week.
Lady Wigram arrived at Wellington yesterday from Christchurch on Red Cross business.
Mrs. J. B. Callan is an Auckland visitor to Wellington.
Miss Elsa Purdey, who has been the guest of her aunt, Mrs. W. J. Woollett, Palmerston North, has returned to Wellington.
Miss M. G. Havelaar, Christchurch, is in Wellington for a V.A.D. council meeting.
Miss Jean Curtis has returned from Palmerston North, where she was the guest of Mrs. A. Simpson, Rangitikei Line.
Miss Marye Savage, Auckland, has left for Sydney en route to Malaya, where her marriage to Mr. Robert McCall will take place. Mrs. T. Copeland Savage accompanied her daughter as far as Australia.
Miss Judy Christian has returned to Petone after spending the weekend at. her home in Palmerston North.
Miss Agnes Shearsby is spending a few days : in Wellington before going to Auckland, where she will live permanently. Before leaving Christchurch Miss Shearsby, who for nearly four years had been pianist for the '3YA" orchestra, was presented by Mr. Will Hutchens, conductor, on behalf of .the orchestra, with a travelling case.
