VISIT TO PALMERSTON NORTH
A Wellington boys' cricket team played a match at Palmerston North yesterday with a High School team, the visitors winning on the first innings. Scores were: Palmerston North High School 108 (G. Anderson 30, Pepden 21 not out, Ci. Poannnga 10, Persson 13; Mulr six for 28, Hastings two for 2). Wellington 110 for eight wickets (Hastings 43, Pike 27, Tofts 15, Wright 12: Waters four for 28, G. Anderson two for 23). A return match will be played in Wellington on the King's Birthday holiday (November 25).
