AN ARREST MADE
NELSON HOTEL FIRES
WOMAN CHARGED WITH
ARSON
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) NELSON, This Day. An arrest has been made in connection with the fires which occurred in the hotel at Nelson where the Governor-General was staying last, Monday night. A woman, aged 28, was charged in the Magistrate's Court this morning! with arson. The accused, whose name I was suppressed meanwhile, was not I represented by counsel. She was rejinandecl until October 31. The police [objected to bail, as further charges are pending.
Dunbar Sloane, Ltd., will sell by public auction, at their mart tomorrow, a varied catalogue of household furniture and effects.
