MAORI BAZAAR.
Much interest is being taken in the bazaar which will be held in Sydney Street Schoolroom on Friday. It is being organised by the local NgatiPoneke Maori Association in aid of the Anglican Maori Mission.. Many stalls have been arranged for produce, flowers, fancy goods, cakes, sweets, etc. Of special interest "will be the Maori arts and craft stall, where many attractive articles of Maori work will be on sale. Entertainment will be provided by the Ngati-Poneke Young Maori Club in the afternoon and evening. At night the club will be in full strength, and will furnish a full programme of Maori action songs and musical items. An excellent afternoon tea will be provided. Viscountess Galway will perform the opening ceremony at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m.
