BOOTH, MACDONALD CAPITAL.

CHRISTCHURCH, October 22. The preference shareholders of Booth, Macdonald, and Co., Ltd., agreed at a special meeting today to the directors' proposals outlined in the annual report for writing down the preference capital by 5s a share to 15s. The reduction was confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting.
