QUISLING OBSTRUCTED
AUTHORITIES TAKE ACTION
NUMEROUS ARRESTS

LONDON, October 11.
The Stockholm correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that organised obstruction against Qiiisling is spreading in Norway, and the secret police are making numerous arrests throughout the country. and are imposing the strictest supervision of suspects. The authorities have disbanded the National Student organisation and have seized its considerable scholarship funds. They have threatened to close the Oslo University unless disloyal behaviour ceases. Several students and lecturers have been arrested for participation in the removal of anti-Semitic posters from shops and demonstrative patronage of Jewish and anti-Quisling tradesmen. The "Stavanger Tidningen" has been suppressed and the whole editorial staff arrested for criticism of followers of Quisling.
