COUNCIL PASSES BILLS
The Legislative Council met at 3.45 p.m. yesterday to pass the Native Purposes Bill, which had been apprcved by the Native Affairs Committee, and the Insurance Companies Bill and the Finance Bill No. 3, passed by the House of Representatives during the forenoon. There was practically no discussion on these measures, and the Council adjourned shortly after 4 p.m. until Wednesday, November 27.
