DID THE WAR CABINET APPROVE?
(To the Editor.) Sir, —According to the Prime Minister's statement when the War Cabinet was formed that body's functions were "to decide and direct," among other matters, "war finance requirements, emergency regulations, so far as they apply to the war effort." In view of this statement, can it be ascertained if the War Cabinet considered the compulsory interest-free loan, and if so did the Hon. Adam Hamilton and the fit. Hon. J. G. Coates approve its terms and conditions?—l am, etc., CURIOUS.
