OFFICERS ELECTED
At the recent annual meeting of the Karori branch, of the League of Mothers, the following officers were elected: —President, Mrs. Urquhart; secretary, Mrs. Gyles; treasurer, Mrs. Goodall; magazine secretary, Mrs. O'Connor; vice-presidents, Mesdames Wilson and Rutherford; committee, Mesdames Robson, Williams, McEwen, Fraser, Caradus, Gordon, Clarke, Hinde, Morse, Jensen, Phillips, Meyer, Janisch, and Maxwell. Musical items were given by the choir and Miss Tui McLeod, and a talk on her visit to England was given by Mrs. Caldwell. A floral token was presented to the re- , tiring president, Mrs, Gunn.
