BRITAIN NOT ISRAEL BUT THE DIVINELY APPOINTED DEFENDER AND PROTECTOR OF ISRAEL AND ISRAEL'S LAND IN THE COLOSSAL STRUGGLE NOW IM-1 PENDING. For' many years we have in these columns been directing attention to Bible j prophecies relating to a latter-day invasion of Palestine and Egypt by a confederacy of "all nations" of continental Europe. The time is now drawing near for a fulfilment of these remarkable prophecies. Recently Britain's land forces in Palestine and Egypt were substantially reinforced and her naval forces in the Mediterranean greatly strengthened. Thus the British Commonwealth of Nations ("The merchants of Tarshish with all the young lions") is TODAY fulfilling its Divinely appointed role of defender and protector of "The Land." What next? (1) The dictatorship nations will combine their forces and invade Palestine and Egypt." (Ezeldel chap. 38, Eze. 39: 1-16, Zech. 14:1-3, Dan. 11:40-45, Joel 3:1-2, Isaiah 17:12-14, Jer. 30:4-7.) (2) "Then shall the Lord go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the flay of battle." (Zech.----14:3.) Thus when Palestine is invaded there will be Divine intervention, the armies of the invaders being destroyed by heaven's artillery, "an overflowing rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone."- (Eze. 38:22, Eze. 39:3-16, Zech. 14:3-4, Zech. 14:12-13.) (3) Therefore these latter-day forces of; evil will be defeated and destroyed not by the might of Britain but by the Power of God of Israel. "Thus will I magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord." (Eze. 38:23.) (4) This coming Divine overthrow in the land 'of Palestine will definitely mean that Jesus Christ is back again upon the earth to establish the Kingdom of God- on earth. (Eze. 35:20, Zech. 14: 3-4, Dan. 12:1, Matt. 24:30, Luke 21: 25-27, Acts 1:11, Acts 3:19-21, Luke 1: 31-33, Isa. 9:6, Matt. 6:10.) (5) The Kingdom of Great Britain ami all other Gentile Kingdoms will then pass away, their lands and peoples being incorporated into Christ's Kingdom, which thus becomes a universal Kingdom, a universal Theocracy.
