DISPUTE SETTLED
HUNTLY COALMINES
RESUMPTION ON MONDAY
| (By Telegraph—Press Association.) i AUCKLAND, .This Day. As the result of the intervention of Mr. C. L. Hunter, liaison officer of the Department of Labour, the dispute at the Macdonald Mine and the Glen Afton Collieries has been settled. Work will be resumed on Monday. A special meeting of union members was held at Huntly this morning. Mr. Hunter received a good hearing and the men's decision was practically j unanimous. It was decided. that the .matters in dispute be referred as early as possible to the National Disputes i Committee.
