ALLEGED THEFT OF £996
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 13. A clerk, Phyllis Olive Barnett, aged 30, was today charged that on April 26, being a clerk in the employ of Robert Urquhart, she stole £996, the property of Robert Urquhart. Detective-Sergeant Walsh, who said that the accused was arrested this morning, secured a remand till next Thursday. Bail was allowed in two sureties, each of £200.
