Last night's big audience i n the Concert Chamber showed their appreciation of the play in no uncertain -manner. When the story r«^ S + thre/ t couples, all well-known residents of the town of Cleckleywyke are celebrating their silver wedding All goes well until Gerald Forbes the organist and choirmaster at the local church, makes the startling revelation that the couples were not legally marned at all. Then the celebrations take a different turn. The situation becomes funnier and funnier as the play proceeds, reaching a grand climax which brings happiness to all. The members of the cast, to all of whom great credit is due, are Mesdames R. B. Ashe W G. Ross. M. Teward, C. Anderson, C Gyles, Misses Sybil Reynolds, Barbara Pulley, Messrs. S. Vinsen, J. V. Burton, A. Ashley-Jones, G. A. Cooper, F. Fox. H. A. Painter, B. S. Withers, and Dr. P. B. Benham; Mr. Leo dv Chateau is the producer. The play will be presented each evening this week and there will be a matinee on Saturday afternoon for the Patriotic Fund.
