BEAULIVRE AND BEAU VITE
IBr Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigbt.) (Received September 5, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Sydney jockey D. Munro states that he will definitely ride Beaulivre in the Epsom Handicap. Efforts are being made to bring about a match race between the New Zea-land-bred four-year-olds Beaulivre and ißeau Vite at the Red dross Meeting at Randwick on October 21. The stake has been fixed at £IQOO, and the suggested distance is nine furlongs. The death has occurred of the thoroughbred sire David, who has been in the forefront of Australian stallions for some years.
