A military court at ClermontFerrand condemned General 'da Gaulle to death and military degrad*. tion for treason by attacks against the State and desertion to a foreign country. In a statement in London,-General de Gaulle said: "The sentence is thtt of 9. court largely under the influence,' and probably under the direct orders, of the common enemy. That enemy will one day be driven from the coil of France. On that day I will submit myself willingly to the judgment of the people."
