A.I.F. ASSOCIATION.
The Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand (Mr. C. E. Critchley) returned from Australia recently, after having taken part in conference's with the Commonwealth Government. He is to be entertained at a smoke concert by the Australian Imperial Force Association-of Ex-servicemen on Tuesday next, when he will give an account of Australia's war effort. Mr. Critchley served in the A.I.F. in the Great War, and it is fitting that he should be so honoured by his fellowOiggers. An advertisement in another column gives full details of the function, at which the Government will be represented. A large attendance of A.I.F. men and their friends is expected. ■•
