The wedding of Mr. C. M. P. Brown, of Wanganui, ivfio is also well knoivn in Wellington, and Miss Margaret Gillhespy, of Sheffield, England, took place at Hampstead Registry Office on June 17. In November of 1938 Mr. Brown was appointed to the intelligence department of the Midland Bank, London, as assistant to the economic adviser. Before that he was for two years at Clare College, Cambridge. The bride and groom are seen outside the registry office after their marriage.
