CALEDONIAN INGLESIDE
A most successful gathering was the ingleside held by the Wellington Caledonian Society during the weekend. The floor was in excellent order for dancing. Mr. A. Burnette was the M.C. Items were interspersed between the dances, the contributors being Mrs. Halvorsen (songs), Miss Thelma Halvorsen (songs), the four Kennedy sisters (exhibition dance), Misses Edna Whitelaw, Peggy McKinnon, and Joy Jonasson (tap trio), and Misses Audrey Cuthbert, Audrey Young, Joan Dunstall, and Nola Hansen (reel of Tulloch and Highland fling). The Pipe Band also gave several selections. Mrs. McGowan was the accompanist, and Pipers W. Smith, jun., and E. Newman contributed the music tor the Scots dances.
