WANING EPIDEMIC
INFLUENZA AT TRENTHAM
The recent further outbreak of mild influenza in the Trentham Mobilisation Camp was stated today to be appreciably on the wane. There are still a number of soldiers absent from duty as a result of the epidemic, but a largo proportion of them are in the convalescent stage. > The number of nevtr cases reporting during the last few days has beqpme very small. Today there are 39 cases in the camp hospital and 165 in the racecourse hospital, but well over 100 of the latter number are convalescing. , .
