WATCHMAN GIVES ALARM

While doing his rounds at about I a.m. today, Mr. John Sheedy, a nightwatchman, found that the front doors of the Fletcher Construction Company's premises in Cable Street haa been tampered with. He 'immediately rang up the police, and the building was surrounded. As soon as the police had taken up their positions the premises were entered and two men were found inside under a table. The offices had been ransacked, and the contents of drawers were lying on the floor. Mr. Sheedy has been responsible in assisting the police to effect a considerable number of captures in the city area over a period of years. In the Magistrate's Court today i the two men were^ remanded for a week. *_
