372 CHILDREN INCLUDED

(Received July 30, 10.15 a.m.)

NEW YORK, July 29,

Two Cunard liners, the Britannic from Liverpool and the Cameronia from Glasgow, have arrived at New York.

The Britannic's passengers included the playwright and actor Noel Coward, who is stated to be on a diplomatic mission to Washington, the French journalist Madame Tabouis, and Viscount Stonehaven.

There were also 272 children, all accompanied by parents, relatives, or guardians, who arrived under private arrangements with friends and relatives in the United States.

Fifteen pieces of luggage labelled "Duke of Windsor" are to be sent to Nassau, capital of the Bahamas.

Mr. J. P. Morgan personally greeted Lord Primrose, the 11-year-old son of Lord Shrewsbury, as well as two children of a business associate in London.

The Cameronia brought about 100 unaccompanied children.
