The following cablegram was sent tonight to-Mr;'Winston Churchill: "As president of the New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce I extend to you our greetings and grateful thanks on your wonderful leadership of our United Commonwealth of Free Peoples. Your'personal inspiration and the united support of all who owe allegiance to.our King must win. May Providence guide you in this great crisis.—W. S. Macgibbon."
