SCREAMING BOMBS
USE BY GERMAN AIRMEN

LONDON, July 17,
Five of eleven bombs dropped in the south-east of England were of the screaming type. One struck a group of two-storeyed houses. A woman and a three-year-old girl were killed. The girl's mother and several others were also injured. A number of houses were damaged.
The total deaths in Monday's raid in the south-east of England is now six,
