The Government is considering the report of the British Ambassador in Tokio, Sir Robert Craigie, on his conversations with the Japanese Foreign Minister, Mr. Arita. It is understood , that discussions between Britain and Japan are likely to continue. A Shanghai message states that the Japanese seized the British steamer Hsenking, which was carrying munitions from the French garrison at Tientsin to the French garrison at Shanghai. The British Navy is investigating the matterTOKIO, July, 9. Cabinet has decided to make another representation to Britain, demanding reconsideration of the Burma question.
