PROMOTIONS AND POSTINGS

The following promotions, transfers, and so on affecting the Trentham Mobilisation Camp have been notified:— Warrant Officer (Class I): S. E. Gray is appointed Camp Sergeant-Ma j or. Acting Staff Sergeant A. J. Fogarty to be Warrant Officer (Class II). Corporal (acting Sergeant) J. Hi Pike to be Sergeant. Lance Corporal T. E. Devine (acting Sergeant) to be Corporal (acting Sergeant). Recent new postings to the camp are as follows: — Lieutenant J. G. Crawford (camp duties). Lieutenant L. F. Taylor, to N.Z. Dental Corps. Sergeant A. H. Gribben and Temporary Corporals G. G. Tickner and W. G. Evans, to camp instructional staff. Sergeants R. B. Murray, E. L. Hughes, and R. J. MacGregor, to canteen staff. Gunner A. J. Goodall, from Fort Dorset, to camp instructional staff. Private F. J. C. Taunton, to Camp Technical Mechanical Transport. Privates S. R. Drury and R. H. Powell, to camp dental hospital. Privates F. D. Sheppard and R. N. Keeling, camp duties. Privates R. H. Tyree, from Buckle Street. Private T. Cairns has been transferred to Tauherenikau. SPECIALIST UNITS. The following transfers to the newly formed specialist engineering, forestry, and railway units have. been made:— From Bth Field Company, N.Z.E.— Sapper J. L. Miles to 14th' Forestry Company. From non-divisional engineers to 14th Forestry Company.—J. W. Abernethy, P. Ashton, S. E. Brown, C. C. Cockshutt, G. E. Dittmer, G. B. J. Findlater, V. T. Fraser, H. M. Holdsworth, G. J. Olsen, F. J.
