When she fell while alighting from a tram at the corner of Willis and. Manners Streets, at about 12.40 p.m. today,-. Mrs. S. Nicholson, 90 Mortimer Terrace, fractured her left thigh. The Free Ambulance. took her to hospital.
Members of the British National Society of Pottery Workers have decided to raise £1000 by weekly contri. butions to buy an ambulance -and comforts for the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
