(By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) (Received July 6, 2.10 p.m.)
LONDON, July 5. The Istanbul correspondent of "The Times" says that reports from Syria reveal that the Syrians are restless as a result of France's capitulation. The Pan-Arab movement seems to have received fresh impetus. The Syrians are not amenable to exchange of French control for that of any other Power. The situation is causing concern in Turkish circles.
A message from Bagdad states that the Iraki Foreign Minister, Nuri Pasha, recent conferences at Ankara, said.that Turkey and Irak believed Syria should have complete independence and that Syrians should have the right to make the final decision.
