BLACK.—On July 4, 1940, at Wellington Hospital, Jane Little, widow of the late John Thompson Black (late of Edinburgh, Scotland); and beloved mother of Mrs. J. Lawlaw, Mrs. B. H. Nlcoll, and A. S, (Sid) Black, all of Petone; aged 79 years.
