DRAW FOR SEMI-FINALS
The draw for the Wellington seml-flnal3 of the Chatham Cup competition, to be played on the BaslD Reserve on July 13, was made at the meeting of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association last night as follows: — '
Waterside v. Hospital, Basin No. 1. Marist v. Seatoun, Basin No. 2. First A Division championship games to be played on Saturday week are as follows:— Swifts v. Pctone, at Petone. Institute 0.8. v. Technical 0.8., at Kelburn. First B Division fixtures are:—■ Moera Stop 'Out v. Miramar Bangers, at Bandwlck School. . :
Onslow v. Nada, at Nairnville. Stop Out v. Diamond, at Anderson Park Training College v. Lower Hutt, at Hutt Recreation Ground.
A report was received from a referee that a Waterside player had been cautioned for persistently questioning his decisions in the Waterside-Institute Old Boys senior game at Anderson Park last Saturday.. The player s name was placed on the caution list. Because of the lack of players Stop Out notified the withdrawal from the competition of its fourth division team and Nada notified the withdrawal of its Second B Division eleven. Complaints were made that clubs were not sending in the result sheets required, and it was decided that failure to return the sheets would be penalised in future.
