Hollywood which manufactures screen romances calculated to make the sentimental heart of the world go pit-a-pat, in Wendy Barries opinion still can't roll its own. "It's because careers make actors butter-fingered," she said. Wendy is the canny young lady from the London stage and screen who has been starring it around Hollywood the past five years. Currently;, she's the chestnut-haired menace (having dyed her blonde locks) in the life of George Sanders in R.K.O.Radio's "The Saint Takes Over." And now, as always, she keeps a critical eye on the local romance crop. "Careers and romance won't mix," she said.
