WRESTLING ON MONDAY,
Earl McCready will defend his British Empire professional heavyweight title at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night against John Katan, with whom he has had two tough tussles this season without a definite result being reached. In order that the position should be settled this time efforts are being made to provide for extra rounds if one of the contestants is not ahead on falls at the end of the eighth round. Katan, who:has beaten McCready in the past and has met with only one reverse since he arrived in the Dominion, is determined to lift the championship, but he wll not find it .easy in the face of the form which McCready is displaying at the present time.
