BEN TURPIN
HOLLYWOOD, July 1. The former comedy screen star, Ben Turpin, is dead. •
The city drainage tunnel from Everton Terrace to the back of Wellesley College on The Terrace was holed out last Friday night. This was the longest section driven between shafts on this work, about a quarter of a mile, but the closing error was negligible, oneeighth of an inch, said the City Engineer, Mr. K. 33. Luke, today.
