BIGGER THINGS TO DO
"I have not any politics just now," stated Mr. W. J. Poison, M.P., when remarking that it might seem curious to those present that a critic of the Government, such as himself, and a member of the National Party, should be touring the country and addressing farmers at the request of the Government, at a meeting sponsored by the Wairoa branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union. Mr. Poison said that he was involved in bigger things, that of organising the farmers in an endeavour to increase production in New Zealand.
E. Johnston and Co., auctioneers, will sell ladies' frocks, etc., at their mart, 8 Willeston Street, tomorrow, at 1.15 p.m.
