TRIP CURTAILED
MR. A. SEED RETURNS
Bombay was the furthest point from New Zealand reached by Mr. Arthur Seed, of Wellington, who'left on April 17 to take part in the International Labour Office conference at Geneva, at which he was to have represented New Zealand employers. The development of the war resulted in the cancellation of the session, which was to have opened on June 5, and Mr. Seed spent three days in Bombay before setting out on the return journey to New Zealand. He is now back in Wellington.
Mr. E. B. Taylor, Registrar of Industrial Uniqns, who was appointed to represent the Government at the conference, returned as far as Sydney with Mr. Seed and is remaining there for some days.
