ANNOUNCEMENT OF RIDERS

The following are riders engaged for the New Derby;—T. Lowrey, Black Toni; M. Beary, Solway Firth; G. Richards, Tant'Mieux; S. Wragg, Pont l'Eveque; A. Wragg, War Lord; J. Marshall, Romulus. / .
Though it was recently cabled that the New Derby, to havejbeeh held at Newbury, -had been cancelled, apparently the race is. now to be run tomorrow at Newmarket. A report received over the weekend indicated that the Derby might be held after all thi* week, but on the Newmarket course.
