The eighth casualty list issued by the War Office contains 220 names, including one officer killed and one wounded, three missing, one taken prisoner, and five other ranks killed, two died, 14 wounded, 154 missing, one missing believed killed, seven previously reported missing but now riot missing, 18 taken prisoner, 13 reported missing and now reported prisoners. The Air Ministry's thirty-third casualty list contains 248 names. It includes 150 missing, among whom is Acting Wing-Commander H. M. Mellor, former air equerry and assistant pilot to the Duke of Windsor when he was Prince of Wales.
